Dream Big, But Bow Low
“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”
— Psalm 127:1
Ya’ll ambition, in itself, is not sinful; in fact, it’s sacred when aligned with the will of God. You were made to create, to build, to advance, to influence, but never apart from the One who gave you the dream.
Ask yourself: Are you chasing a throne… or are you building one for Jesus to sit on?
When God gives you a dream, it will stretch you, sanctify you, and bless others. It will call for integrity over shortcuts, and obedience over outcomes. The world tells you to “hustle harder.” But Jesus says, “Abide in Me, and you’ll bear fruit.” (John 15:5)
Let your ambition be bold, but let it be surrendered. Let it be fire with a cross-shaped filter, every move made for His glory, not just your gain. Because the goal is more than just to make it.
Let’s Pray: Father, You are the Giver of dreams, not small ones, but wild, bold, mountain-moving dreams. I ask You now: purify my ambition. Let me not chase success for my name, but for Your Kingdom. If my plans are selfish, cut them off. If they are holy, breathe life into them. Let my hustle be holy, my motives be pure, and my vision be Spirit-led. Open doors no man can shut. And when I walk through them, let me walk with humility, purpose, and courage. Make me bold enough to chase these dreams and surrendered enough to obey. In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
